Money to Burn: IRS Spends Millions on Conferences

The same IRS that audited anti-Obama donors and held up non-profit tax status applications for conservative groups apparently doesn’t hold itself to the same level of inspection.  Between 2010 and 2012, the IRS spent $50 Million on conferences for staff and administration.  The agency also spent $50,000 on training videos, including a Star Trek parody starring an IRS deputy director.
