Nonsequitur: Is Liberalism Oppressive?

July 2, 2013

Victor Davis Hanson argues that the progressive agenda hurts the poor and underrepresented while exempting liberal elites from any significant change in lifestyle.

Modern liberalism, among other things, is a psychological state, in which very-well-off Americans find ways through their income and privilege to be exempt from the ramifications of their own ideologies, while adopting causes and pets that exempt them from guilt over their own status and limitless opportunities.

In other words, Obama gets re-elected and Al Gore gets rich while things get worse for the poor and minorities in our country. More details can be found here.

Note:  If you doubt Hanson’s argument, just peruse the articles we have under the “Progressive Rainbow” category.
