Nonsequitur: 27 Obamacare “Fixes” (and Counting)
November 16, 2013
Grace-Marie Turner & Tyler Hartsfield of the Galen Institute have annotated the 27 changes made to the ACA by the Obama administration, Congress and the Supreme Court. Ten changes to the law were made unilaterally, and probably illegally, by President Obama. But the President assures us that this latest change will work, and that by the end of next year, we’ll see how well the ACA is working.
But all these “fixes” haven’t really solved the problems of the ACA, merely pushed off the consequences of this incredibly flawed law for a short time. How many more delays and changes will be required before our leaders are forced to admit that Obamacare is unworkable and needs to be fundamentally altered or repealed?
