Nonsequitur: Good Economic News (Finally)

According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, the GDP grew by a healthy (adjusted) 4.6% in the 2nd quarter after a decline of 2.1% the first quarter. Real Personal Consumption was up by 2.5%. Exports increased by 11.1%. (Read the full report here.) If we can keep this up, things should be looking good for the annual growth rate at the end of the year. Hopefully, jobs and tax revenues will follow.
